Delivery and Access Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
(Also referred to as “shipping policy” in menus — applies to digital delivery only.)
Courier Billing is Software as a Service (SaaS). We do not ship physical goods as part of the core product. This policy explains how you receive access, what to expect for uptime and updates, how invoice PDFs and exports are delivered, and how support is provided.
1. Digital service — no physical shipping
Courier Billing runs in the cloud. You access it with a supported web browser over HTTPS. There are no parcels, printed manuals, or installation media shipped to your address for the standard subscription. Any future promotional merchandise would be governed by separate terms shown at the time of the offer.
2. Grant of access
Access timing depends on how you start:
- Free trial: after successful registration and email verification (and any eligibility checks we apply), you can sign in immediately. The trial lasts 7 days.
- Paid subscription: after our payment partner confirms successful charge, your account reflects the purchased plan—typically within minutes. You may receive a confirmation email. A new workspace may ask you to finish Franchise setup (including your billing locations) before the rest of the app unlocks.
- Demo mode: where we offer a read-only or limited demo, access is instant without payment, subject to demo rules shown on screen.
3. “Delivery” of invoices, reports, and exports
Outputs you create inside Courier Billing are delivered electronically:
- GST-ready invoice PDFs are drawn in your browser first and downloaded to the device you choose. If your device cannot do so, or for larger invoices, our server renders the PDF once and stores it privately; later downloads use a short-lived link to that stored copy.
- Spreadsheets or other exports (where we provide export buttons) download directly to your machine in the formats supported at that time (for example CSV or Excel-compatible files). Large Booking Data uploads are processed in the background, so results can take a little while to appear.
- We do not routinely postal-mail invoice copies; you are responsible for distributing PDFs to your clients or archiving them per your internal policy.
4. Geographic access
The Service is primarily designed for users in India. You may access it from other countries if local law allows and our systems permit. You are responsible for:
- A stable internet connection and suitable hardware.
- Using an up-to-date browser supported by the Service.
- Compliance with export, sanctions, and data-localisation laws applicable to you.
We may block access from regions or networks that create disproportionate legal or security risk.
5. Availability, maintenance, and updates
We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily limited because of:
- Planned maintenance — we will try to schedule during low-traffic windows and post a short advance notice when practical.
- Emergency maintenance — security patches or incidents may require immediate action without advance notice.
- Dependency outages — hosting, DNS, identity, payment, or telecom providers outside our direct control.
New features and fixes roll out continuously to the same URL; you do not install desktop software from us for the web application. Occasionally you may need to refresh the page or clear browser cache after a major release.
6. Offline behaviour and local storage
Parts of the application may cache data in your browser or device storage so that you can continue working during brief connectivity loss. Changes you make while offline wait in a queue on your device and sync when you reconnect, so keep the same browser open until they sync. Clearing site data before then discards unsynced changes. That cache is under your physical control and may contain business-sensitive information—protect your device with a password and sign out on shared computers. Clearing site data removes the local copy but does not delete your authoritative records in the cloud unless you separately delete them in-app or close your account under our Privacy Policy.
7. Data portability
We provide in-product downloads for artefacts you own (such as invoice PDFs and supported exports). For personal data requests (access, correction, deletion), see our Privacy Policy. We do not impose artificial delays on export solely to discourage churn; exports remain subject to technical limits, account standing, and security review where needed.
8. Support channels
Support is delivered electronically:
- Email: support@courierbilling.in
- In-app help, FAQs, or documentation we publish from time to time.
We do not offer walk-in support unless separately agreed in writing. Response times vary by workload; critical billing outages receive priority.
9. Relationship to other policies
Liability caps for downtime or delivery delays are set out in our Terms and Conditions. If any statement here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms prevail.
